The State Administration of Human Services and Health Related Stuff’s current home of Prescription Services, Information Purveyors and Health Care Purchasing and Billing, simply known as Los Ritos Building 3, will be named in honor of current Program System Operations Administrator William F. Davidson, the State Health Agency Board of Trust has voted. The building will be renamed the Bill Davidson Building at the Ritos Complex.
The board's move is in recognition of Davidson’s leadership in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Ritos Building 3 and communicating building activities to its employees.
Davidson is said to be "overwhelmed" with the honor.
"It's great to be a part of such a wonderful organization and I glad my services are not being overlooked,” Davidson said.
SAHSHRS Exalted Commander Roger Farctate said that Davidson deserves this honor the most.
"Bill Davidson is a giant in building supervision in every way. His contributions to Los Ritos’s safety and growth over the past two years are incalculable. Bill’s legacy at SCHSHS is a government building that is better, stronger, smarter and more compassionate in every way. He has earned every tribute he receives, and then some."
Under Davidson’s leadership, Ritos Building 3 experienced phenomenal growth in its enterprises. Davidson is credited with personally trapping and killing all wildlife within a two miles radius and preventing it from wandering on to Ritos property and interacting with employees. The now-famous Coffee Cult was initiated under Davidson’s command, ushering in discount coffee available for all who believe. Serving as Safety Coordinator for the Budget Unit and Safety Leader for Ritos Building 3, Davidson has also maintained an excellent record for fire drills. Fire Department officials who have assisted in Ritos fire drills have said of Davidson that his First Response techniques are “a major evolution in fire safety in this state.”
“It’s truly an honor to have worked with him here at the Ritos Complex for the past few yeas,” Reginald Dwight Hermann, Esquire said, a co-worker who worked with Davidson at the previous headquarters the Stratibellum, the Kaye-Wielden Building and SHA Main Campus.
“We need more Bill Davidsons!”
