The 83rd Texas Legislature passed several laws over the summer, including one that changed the name of Texas State University-San Marcos. Known by that name since 2003, on September 1, the city identifier was dropped from that university's official name, making it simply Texas State University. What do you think?
"The joke's on them; they're still in San Marcos!"
Denny Wisner; junior, general studies
"Did they change Boko's name to Flynn? I firmly believe they should change their mascot's name to Flynn."
Marisol Andover; senior, philosophy
"God, how did they survive the last ten years?"
Bryson Cox; senior, crop sciences
