...Last Wednesday, August 13th, NBC Nightly News reported the story of a truck crashing into a Mesquite, Texas family’s home. It was caught on security cam, and that is the main reason you saw the story at all. If there was no video, there would be no story on network news. But, what makes it worse is that NBC Nightly News dubbed the story as “breaking news”. You can see in the camera’s footage that the date is 8/10/2025. This means that when NBC reported the story, three days later, it still called it “breaking news”. This is just one reason that viewers have lost trust in the media.
